Up for auction is this very rare piece. It is a McClelland Barclay. It looks like a bow. It is a pin with lots and lots of rhinestones with sapphire colored baguettes. It is fully signed "McClelland Barclay" on the back. My original picture of the signature came out blurry so I will add another one later. McClelland Barclay was a multi-taleneted artist. He was born in 1891 in St. Louis I believe. He designed posters for the world war 1, he came up with some kind of cammoflage painting. He was a renowned sculptor. He designed jewelry that only the elite could afford. I believe this was around the 1930's He went back into the navy for World war II and that is w he was killed in 1943 when the ship he was on was torpedoed by the Japanese. This pin is in great condition. I looked through a loop to make sure every stone was in place. You can see in the picture the size and again I will post the signature. They say you must look for the full McClelland Barclay signature which this one has but I think t may also be pieces with abbreviated signatures. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. Never a handling charge, never a packaging charge. Juat the actual postage. I am going to start this lower than I would like to without a reserve. Thanks for looking and good luck. is more info on this gentleman: McClelland Barclay ( 1891 - 1942 ) was
