This nice VINTAGE McCoy planter features a black and white BIRD flying alonside a yellow/green double cache pot seated on wider foliated saucer - MUST SEE PICS! 10.5 inches long, about five inches deep on wide end and stands nearly five inches tall - this is a heavy solid piece! Although not entirely perfect, given the size and thickness of the clay body this piece is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition with only a very faint age craze to pots - virtually imperceptible on exterior and a little easier to see inside although not much. Glazework has been very well done and this is a very attractive double cache planter with the applied bird. (Ref. see Hanson/Nissen McCoy Collector's Reference Vol.I p. 150.)
