This is a McCoy Frog on a stump cookie Jar. One of the very cool cookie Jars of a Frog sitting on a stump. There is a lot of detail with the bark of the stump with brown highlights of the wood, and a mushroom growing from the stump and the Frog content on the log with its red lips. The Frog looks like he has either a flat rock or a cookie in his hands. This cookie jar was Made by the McCoy Pottery company of Zanesville, Ohio and is marked McCoy indented on bottom the jar. This Cookie Jar has age and was made in either the the Late 1960's early 1970s. Both Jar and Lid are in excellent condition with a couple small chips on the inside underneath the rim of the lid. Not visible at all with the Lid on the cookie jar or lid sitting on table by itself. Measures 12" Tall (with lid) x 11" across at its widest. This is a great piece and fun for the kitchen or collector of McCoys.
