Zebra Planter 1950's McCoy Pottery Up for auction is the rare and wonderful "Zebra" planter manufactured by McCoy Pottery in the 1950's. You know it - it is the one you have been looking for - it doesn't come along often and it is displayed in all its glory. The "Zebra" is extremely rare and rarely seen even on eBay. It is in black and white (as zebras should be) and has a wonderful nice and bright glaze. The zebra is actually two (a mother and offspring) and this particular piece is in excellent condtion. It has crazing, a very small flake on the underside and a glazed over imperfection on the rear. It also has the typical glaze marks and pops. Otherwise, the piece is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips - absolutely great. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches long and stands about 7 inches tall. Would make a great addition to your collection - I always add don't let it pass you by however, you won't see this one for a long time coming. Treat yourself - you will not regret it.
