This auction is for a vintage aluminum Mcdonald T hard hat. I do not know a lot about it but I tried to research it a little before listing. T is dirt left on the helmet as I did not clean it. Hat is in very good condition. The inlay of the hat is a black color, not sure what the black is. This hat is engraved or hammered with Indonesian symbols. Each corner has an Indonesian Shadow puppet figure. T is a bird type creature on the front with the word Mark. On the back is the word Wallace. I am not sure if this means "Mark Wallace" or a man named "Mark" who works for a company named "Wallace". On te top of the helmet is the words W.M Yogya. I believe this is for the city Yoyakarta in Indonesia. I am also not sure which industry this cap is from. I got it with some other oilfield stuff, but t is also a lot of diamond and aluminum mining in Yogya. This is a one of a kind item. I have seen other helmets like this from the Midle East but not Indonesia. This hard hat has wonderful detail A must have for many types of collectors. If you have any questions please ask.
