For sale: Antique McDonald's outdoor play land and indoor figurines. These were part of the original McDonald's outdoor play sets and merchandising circa 1970's. I will add more pictures as this is not the entire listing, the ebay picture loader would only let me load these but I will put the rest up as I get time. Among the items are: Approx 7ft Ronald Statue, a Mayor McCheese Figurine, a Mayor McCheese sliding board and enclosure. A set of 4 carousel figures, an approx 3ft Hamburgerlar , a pirate figure (which I have forgotten the name of), a spring ride figurine, a spring ride figurine with no spring, an approx 7 ft hamburger with igloo door exits and a few other figures that I will post.
Buyer is responsible for removal and pickup of all equipment the carousel, spring ride figure, Mayor McCheese slide and Ronald Statue are all secured in the ground with concrete. I do have a tractor with a hydro lift and a neighbor with a backhoe that we could help remove the equipment but I would take no responsibility for any damage if it were to occur. They are fairly simple to remove as they need to be dug out around the concrete and lifted straight up and out. I don't want to dramatize the removal I can assist in removal but as I say IF something were to occur to damage one of the pieces I would not be responsible, I think you can understand my position.
These are all original McDonald pieces, some are extremely rare, although there are many Ronald Statues on the net, this one is one of the originals and in great shape.The large hamburger enclosure with igloo doors I have never seen for sale anywhere. All will need some refurbishing as they have been outdoors and used by neighborhood children over the years. I am not an expert on these things but would be glad to try and answer any questions you have.
Overall I would say these are in fair condition however I would say for the age they are in great condition, you will have to determine that. But again most if not all will need some refurbishing and painting.
I will put more photos up as I can. Buyer will need to send a deposit of 50% of sale price within 10 days of end of Auction. I will give you as much time as you need to remove them. Items are located in Louisville, Kentucky 40272
