Up for auction is this SUPER rare McDonnell Douglas DC-10 SERIES 10 ROLL OUT Desk Model. This is the paint scheme that was on the roll-out planes and the first flight planes. I believe it is 1/200 Scale and is as typical, a resin model. IT IS A PAC MIN (check out the mint original decal on the base, circa 1970). The condition of this model is very nice. This was my uncle's desk model and was on his desk in Long Beach since roll out of this AWESOME tri jet. He was a 40 year veteran there. It has does have some very minor wear, please look closely at the pictures. These factory desk models are getting harder and harder to find especially in this paint scheme. Don't snooze. Keep watching as we are going to sell his collection off. The group shot of airplanes are being offered in different auctions. Thanks for looking!!!!
