McIntosh Mr500 Fm Tuner This McIntosh MR500 Digital FM Tuner Precision Stereo Serial number DF1146 has been tested and is in Clean 100% working condition. It is fully operational in all modes. The metal casing has some minor scratches but the face plate is in very good condtion. T are 11 push buttons on the face plate, the top row is numbered 1 thru 6 and the bottom 5 are for enter, mute, manual and up and down scan.. The 2 knobs for tuning and volume on the front of the unit move freely. T is a Headphone jack on the front of the unit and the best part of this option is this unit can be used as a stand-alone headphone radio, separate from your main system. On the back of the unit it say this is a 120V 50/60 Hz 15 watt, unswitched is 120V 50/60 Hz 300 watts max. The Scope has Vertical (TP1) Horizontal (TP2). The Outputs are fixed or Variable Left and Right. The specifications of this unit are as follows: Usable sensitivity 13dBF, which is 2.5uV at 300 ohms or 1.25uV at 75 ohms. 50dB Quieting Sensitivity - Mono 16.8dBF which is 3.8uV at 300 ohms or 1.9uV at 75 ohms. Stereo - 37.3dBF, which is 40uV at 300 ohms or 20uV at 75 ohms. Frequency response - Mono + - 1db, 20Hz to 15 kHz.. The metal casing has some minor scratches on it but the glass face plate is in very good condition. T are 10 dials on the front of the unit and they all turn and move freely. The dials from left to right and top to bottom are as follows:Top Dials are Input Selector Laser is for TV, VCR, AUX, CD, Tuner & PH. Equalizer Frequency has 5 dials: 30, 150, 500, 1500 & 10K. Headphone Volume and Volume. Bottom Dials are Mode Selector, Stereo, Stereo REV, R to L & R , L to L & R, Mono ( L & R ) , L+R to L & L + R to R, Balance Loudness L & R. Then t are 8 buttons and they are for Tape 1 & Tape 2 Monitor, Tape Copy 1>2 & 2 >1, LF-HF Filter, Speaker / Output 1 & 2 and Power button. T are also 4 jacks 2 for tape in and out and 2 for headphones. T are 2 Panlock buttons on the bottom of face plate on either side. The back of the unit has 38 jacks going across the upper part and they are for (outputs 12 jacks ) L & R output, main, line, tape 1 & tape 2.( External Processors / 8 Jacks) to and from L & R for main & tape. (Inputs 18 jacks ) for L & R tape 1 & 2, Aux, VCR, TV, Laser, CD, Tuner & PH. Going across the bottom half of the back t are 8 output plugs and they are as follows: 1 for Turntable Power 120V 50/60Hz 100 Watts Max, 1 for Unswitched and 6 for switched 120V 50/60Hz 1200 Watts Max. t is also a 4 opening input plug area that says SCR and on top of that t is a metal that says ground. The place w the electrical plug is it says 120V 50/60Hz 25 watts.
