Last update September 2008. This product has undergone a major revision. It now includes a total of 130 Augsburg factory blueprints detailing the airframe (including the what we have been able to gather so far for the cockpit). The and tail and tail fin modules are now included in this set and not available separately. 62 are mechanical for airframe construction and 68 are electrical wiring schematics. The Instrument panel is now available - for the G-2 version (Blech and GerÃ¤teblech). On top of that t are 25 CAD drawings for fabrication of the Rumpf section. We do appreciate our customers staying in contact and in many respects this product would not be possible without the support of those who are committed to researching documenting this aircraft. Wver possible, we provide the blueprints full size and in full colour as shown in the pictures. The CAD component deals with the back section of the Fuselage (the Rumpf). It includes precise data in .dxf format to design and set up the jig for the aft fuselage geometry (Rumpfteil 2) of any Bf 109 restoration or rebuild. It also includes the CAD drawings for the individual fuselage shells. The tooling needed for cold forming of fuselage shells 2, 4, 6 and 8, both left and right hand side can be designed from CAD SET 1 and applies to all models Bf 109 unless noted on each document. This information set is being used for an ongoing rebuild and customers are entitled to revisions free of charge. Customers will also receive drawings of new parts or fittings within the aft fuselage range (Rumpfteil 2) as soon as they are made available for release and proven in the field. This data set also includes GENERAL DATA - major contour dimensions of the whole aircraft including wings to allow model builders to work to a level of accuracy that has never before been possible. Although this information can be used for airworthy aircraft, we decline any liability arising from the use of these drawings. All available supporting Augsburg factory documents (blueprints & manuals) are included. All files print easily onto paper using your PC or alternatively at an outside bureau using laserjet or inkjet printers. Many of the original blueprints are in colour and full size in case you want them for private use as posters. The CAD data is compiled from surviving examples of the aircraft type, wrecks and Messerschmitt factory blueprints and manuals. Some electrical wiring diagrams are included. The Rumpfteil 2 construction files are 2D dxf files from AutoCAD and 3D .stp and .iges files that open with Pro Engineer, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor a.o. - files which (as an example) will enable you to pick off data points on the drawings and drive CNC tools for making Rumpf forming blocks and or shaping the entire aeroplane physically - directly by hand or indirectly in a 3D application of your choice. Our products are professionally produced in every way from their content right down to the art direction on the labels. Everything is as sharp and clear as the original document. Fold-out pages and oversized sheets wver present, are actually presented as fold-out pages and oversized sheets and are not reduced down. All scanning is done full colour at 300ppi resolution. We can't stand manuals or blueprints that are produced as black and white bitmaps - they usually look a lot worse than photocopies. Our CD manuals and many of our blueprints give you the actual experience of looking at the original manual or blueprint - simply because we pay attention to detail and we scan at high resolution in full colour.
