You are bidding for one Genuine Measham Teapot with a small teapot lid. It is dedicated to 'Mr and Mrs Tune married on july 17th 1909'. It is decorated with peacocks and flowers on both sides. It is 12.5 inches tall and 8 inches across the body.The spout and handle are in good condition. There is an old chip to the lid rim and the front lug. The rear lug shows an old repair. See the photos.This teapot is now 105 years old! They were made from around the 1870's until 1910ish predominately in Derbyshire by Mason Cash and Co.My parents collected these pots in the 1970's and they have stayed in our family ever since.Paypal only.
