' People's Army of Vietnam ' Military Labor Order French Indochine War / Early Vietnam War SERIAL NUMBER 1016 (issued French Indochine War) Original Ribbon & Medal Bar with Incredibly low serial Number ENORMOUSLY RARE PIECE Only Very Early Issues of this Medal had serial numbers embossed to the rear. Finding any of these pieces now is rare. Finding a piece piece with a Serial number with only 4 figures is practically unheard of. This is the lowest serial number I have ever seen of this medal. This medal is, ' Medal Issued Number 1216 Awarded only to members of the Peoples Army of Vietnam this award was initiated in 1950 and was awarded in three groups and the level of award is indicated by the number of stars shown to the ribbon with One Star indicating that is the Second Order. It was awarded to military personnel with the PAVN (Viet Cong) for ' Outstandings Intellectual or Labor Accomplishments '. It is probably the most decorative of the Communist Vietnamese Medals. Giving the Serial Number it is highly, and most likely that with the medal coming into been in 1950 that this medal was issued during before the end of the French-Indochine War.
