Item Description The Medieval time, also commonly referred as Middle Age, is one of the most interesting periods in human history. It lasted roughly a millennium, commonly dated from the fall of the Western Roman Empire in the 5th century to the beginning of the Early Modern Period in the 16th century. Chivalry is a term related to the medieval institution of knighthood. It is usually associated with ideals of knightly virtues, honor and courtly love. This is a One Hand Medieval Crusader Knight Chivalry Broad sword. This sword is measured at 39” long and comes with a steel/wood constructed scabbard. This sword features a 28.5” long carbon steel constructed blade. The tip of the blade is very sharp, and the edge of the blade is not sharpened. A ridge line runs in the middle of the blade. The guard is an Oakeshott Type XVIIIb guard built from Stainless Steel with a solid feel and golden highlights at the ends of the cross guards. The handle of the sword features a ribbed design with a black imitation leather cover. The pommel is solid steel that balances the sword with an ornate design and golden fittings. The scabbard of the sword is constructed with hardwood with artificial leather wrap. On the drag and the throat of the scabbard are stainless steel finishing.
