A Vintage English Solid Oak Oval Top Barley Twist Gate Leg Table from England. It is in good condition considering its age and travels. It still has some very nice wood grains showing throughout the table and the Barley Twist Legs. It has probably been refinished a time or two in it's long life at the very least, this table has been around quite a while, I would guess it was made around the first part of the century to the 1930's. It has some dings and some scratches scratches but it doesn't have any burn marks or water rings on it. The finish on the table top and leaves are very good, the frame or under carraige has some blemishes which are light or dark spots. Compared to most gateleg tables we see coming in from England these days, it's one of the better ones. It's a nice table! It has a real nice Chestnut Oak (Reddish Oak) Patina to it with Super Oak wood grains showing through out the table. The smaller and medium sizes are a lot higher in price and harder to find than the large size. Gate Leg tables are very versitile, they can be used as a dining table, a game table, a window table, a hall table and a sofa table. They go great in apartments, condo's and lake homes and are just nice to have for an extra table for company. It's 35 1/2" X 16 1/2" X 28 5/8" tall closed. Opened on one side, it's 35 1/2" X 31 1/2" and 28 5/8" tall. Opened on both sides, it's 46 1/2" X 35 1/2" X 28 5/8" tall. It has many, many good years of service left in it. What a conversation piece this will make for your breakfast room or nook, gameroom, family room or dining room!! Local pickups are welcome!! Please Read the Terms for Payment.
