These (3) real photo postcards are of Medora North Dakota apparently where Roosevelt did some ranching as one of the cards states on the front. The top card says it's a photo of the "Red Trail Roundup" showing horseback riders and one man roping a cow/calf. This top card measures approx. 3" x 5" and dates between 1904 - 1918. The bottom left is of the town of Medora and states that "Roosevelt once ranched in this valley", it has some writing in pencil on back that says "valley about 1 mile wide here. Butter allowed" (Butter allowed? Could be during ww1 rationing). It measures approx. 3.5" x 5.5" and dates between 1917-1930. The bottom right as stated on the bottom "cows grazing in the badlands. Medora, No. Dak.". It measures approx. 3.5" x 5.5" and dates between 1904 - 1918. All three of these postcards are unused or not posted and most of the dark marks on them are from the photo process. They all are in very nice shape with some slight soiling, but no bends or tears. These are very historic cards. Please email with any questions.
