ENORMOUS MEGALODON TOOTH Spectacular Specimen! No Restoration or Repairs! DESCRIPTION: (Please read before bidding) All teeth are lightly cleaned with water & vinegar, then mildly buffed with a soft brush or cloth. Some ocean sediment or coral may remain. These teeth are otherwise unmodified and unaltered; in their natural state. No repairs or restorations or restorations have been done; no fillers have been used. Pictures listed on this description are of the actual megalodon tooth being bid upon and are an accurate representation of such. ~We encourage all of our buyers to compare! Many teeth currently on the market have undergone some restoration. Other sites can be very vague about this important detail! Long term, an unrestored, natural fossil is worth far more than one that has been altered with grinding, jeweler's polish, fillers, etc. ALL TEETH SOLD ON THIS SITE ARE NATURAL; they are NOT repaired, modified, filled, etc. These megalodon teeth are being sold as they were found; they are washed because details are easier to see when the teeth are clean. (And they smell better!) Please be aware of what you are purchasing! When you purchase one of our megalodon teeth, we consider you to be making an investment. CURRENT ITEM: Tooth Type: Megalodon Collected By: Seller Collection Site: North Carolina, Atlantic Ocean, USA Measurements Right= 4.71" (120 mm) Left= 4.86" (124 mm) Width = 3.97" (101 mm) Measurements are made on the angle on each diagonal side (right & left) and the width across the root. All measurements are made with digital calipers for better accuracy. All items are authentic, not repaired, not modified or not altered. Items are cleaned with fresh water and vinegar and possibly a soft bristle brush or cloth. They are rinsed with fresh water and rubbed with a drop or two of organic oil to combat drying. At no time are petroleum-based products or glazing used on any items. PAYMENT: Paypal is accepted for payment. (Sorry, no other forms of payment are accepted.) Payment is due upon purchase; transactions not paid within four days of auction end may be canceled. SHIPPING: Every tooth is individually bubble wrapped, then packed in styrofoam packing peanuts in a cardboard box. Your purchased will be shipped with care and packaged the way a fossil should be! Domestic: Shipping & handling for one megalodon tooth is $7.50, via United States Postal Service Priority Mail, Small Box within the United States. Combined shipping discounts are offered at $2.50 per additional tooth for multiple purchases, shipped in the same box. International: Shipping to most foreign countries is available but somewhat limited; please inquire if we ship to your country before bidding. International shipments are sent via USPS Priority International Mail, Small Box for $24.50. Combined shipping is available for $8.50 additional for the 2nd tooth in the box. There is a maximum of 4 lbs. per international shipment and size is limited in this size box. Depending on the size and weight of your purchase, we may or may not be able to combine shipments. Buyer is responsible for any brokerage and/or customs fees, if applicable.
