His bio is below.Japan, late 1800's early 1900's. Meiji Satsuma Arita Imari Export Pair (2) Cabinet Vases Geisha Cherry Blossom Parts. A near pair and possibly decorated by the same studio, each with one interior scene of geisha, ladies and attendants with doors open to exhibit the cherry blossoms (sakura) and view of the river landscape beyond, the reverse with ladies and attendants with children in a river landscape with wisteria. Goose blue neck and base with gilt decoration. One marked - RYUZAN in red enamel, the other with a stock code 4 1. Wear to gilding. They each measure approx. 12-1/4" tall by 7-1/4".
