Up for auction is a Meissen Coffee or Chocolate pot. 8 1/2" tall and approx. 6" from handle to spout. It's in very good condition. The overall body has no damage. No cracks, chips or crazing. The colors and gilding are very vibrant. Only some ware to the gold on the handle, from use.Only damage I see is to the rose finial on the lid. One of the petals has been damaged, and a piece of the stem (see picture).The Meissen crossed swords on the bottom. Also, the remains of a sticker which I think says ....Dealers Association.....certified...prior to 1847.Also in underglaze are two other marks which cannot be seen in picture and appear to be a letter B and a number 47.All the hand painting is absolutely exquisite. Great details and colors throughout piece. A true collectors piece.I have other pictures if you'd like to see. E-mail any questions.I ship worldwide.
