For sale is this beautiful Meissen - Germany antique plate. Handpainted flowers (Deutsche Blume) in center and heavy gilt on border. It measures 10 1/2" (2.7cm) in diameter. Trademark from Meissen, Blue Cross Swords on the back. No incised little lines. On the swords, the pommels are emphasized by a little knob. This mark was used from 1850-1924. Plate is unusual heavy, 2 pounds. No chips, no cracks, some wear on gilt. Plate is in very good condition. No reserve!
