Handpainted Meissen Thimble Of The Millennium To celebrate the Millennium the German porcelain manufacturer produced what has become a desirable collection of ten annual thimbles. This beautiful thimble is dated 1996 which was the first of the millennium thimbles. The thimble has a 22carat gold band and handpainted by a masterpainter of Meissen. One of a limited edition of 500 the thimble is being auctioned with a certificate of authenticity. The handpainting is inspired from the famous Meissen Swan dinner service. This thimble is in mint condition and comes in it's original Meissen blue box. A wonderful example of a quality thimble from this legendary German porcelain manufacturer.
