MEISSEN/OLD PARIS/EMPIRE GILT/ SNAKE-HANDLED VASE This vase is a cobalt blue late 19 th century snake handled Meissen vase. It has the crossed Meissen sword marks and dates from the 1880âe(tm)s until 1900. It is a two part vase and bolted from underneath. It is overall in very good condition with some gilt loss, especially on the handles. Wear is consistent with age. Measurements are âeoe5 1/2 inâe by âeoe11 1/4 inâe. I am selling some antiques from my motherâe(tm)s collection and this is guaranteed genuine. The vase has a starting price of $199 with no reserve. I am relisting due to non paying buyer.If you are not from the u.s.,please contact seller for shipping costs at least 24 hours before auction ends.
