Meissen Tea Cup and Saucer This beautiful little cup and saucer are very rare. Done in 3D relief, Capodimonte-like scenes They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or utensil marks.The gold scalloped rim on both the cup and the saucer are in very good condition with just minor wear which is only apparent under close inspection. Lovely handpainted scenes on the cup are cherubs and / or putti playing and swimming in the water with fish. The saucer has scenes of the cherubs playing games.There is some minor rubbing and / or paint loss to some of the leaves which does not overly detract.The painting on the cup is in excellent condition with no apparent paint loss.This is an amazing piece to add to your collection.
