Up for auction is a Meissen Tea Cup & Saucer. I bought these pieces at an elderly ladies estate sale. They are both decorated with a beautiful Green Vine Ivy which is still very bright. They look like they have never been used. The saucer has gold trim around the edge & in the center that has very little, if any ware. It measures approximately 6" across the top & stands 1" tall. It has no chips or cracks. The tea cup measures approximately 2 5/8" across & stands 2 1/4" tall. It does not have any chips or cracks. The cup has gold trim around the top edge & around the bottom. The handle is in the shape of some type of bird, maybe a goose, it has gold trim in the shape of feathers & a gold design on his head eyes & beak. All of the gold trim on the cup has very little, if any ware. Both pieces are marked with the blue under glazed cross swords. The mark looks like it may be the 1725-1732 (not sure). Please look at all pictures & be your own judge. I will be glad to answer any questions that you may have. Please check out my other auctions for more Meissen pieces. I will be glad to combine shipping. Thank you for looking.
