Up for your consideration is a lovely vintage "Cr& Sugar Bowl w/ Lid & LUSH Gold painted handles " It is marked: "Meito China, Hand Painted, Made in Japan" This is the "Athlone" Pattern- this is an extremely rare but sought after pattern- I have recently discovered a very large set of this pattern with all the key serving pieces. Its in very good condition and currently available- these pieces are rare and will move fast- get them before they are gone for good- some of these pieces wont be seen again online for many years possibly. It is vintage china, the design is very ornate consisting of a cream colored rim with a green band and floral bouquets and foliage. Also has a gold accented rim as well. Creamer Measures : 4" wide x 5.75" long with handle & spout, 3.25" tall Sugar Bowl Measures: 6" long with handles by 5.25" wide and 4.25" tall with lid. In very good condition for its age and looks barely used. No chips, cracks or fleabites. The gold is almost all intact with only a few tiny fading spots.
