Full disclosure up front. We're not Jewish. We know a couple of Hebrew words, and Hanukkah (or Chanukah) is one of them. Menorah is the other. We have several of these classical, contemporary, clean-lined Menorahs in our home. The Jewish feast starts on December 22, 2008. If you're Jewish, t's plenty of time to get one or more in place for the week-long festival. If you're not Jewish, get one or more of these beautiful 9-branched 'candelabra' for your Christmas buffet or dining room table. As shown in the photo, the Menorah is completely free of adornment. Its heavy nickel plating over solid brass beautifully reflects the candle-glow in its high-luster surface. The stand and arms are rectangular in cross-section, adding to the classical lines. When loaded with genuine beeswax dripless candles, not included but sold separately , the warmth of the illumination will enhance any occasion of the coming season, be it Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas* or Boxing Day. (Why not three out of four???)

More ... Each Menorah comes with a rectangular felt cloth pad that's integral to the base. We add another separate felt pad (green) that doubles the protection to your table or other surface. We have genuine beeswax candles (like the ones in the photo) made for us in Israel. We send you one free candle that you may use to guide your purchase of additional candles. The candle base diameter is important if you want a snug fit. If you desire, you may purchase other candles from us. We offer them at $0.90 (90 cents) per candle, or $7.20 for the extra eight candles you'll need. Let us know by email when you win the auction if you want them and we'll ship them with the Menorah at no extra shipping cost to you.
