Very Rare Men’s Breitling Avenger Seawolf Paratroopers Limited Edition Automatic Chronometer Model E17370. Up for sale is this guaranteed authentic stunning looking Breitling watch. This particular watch belongs to a Limited Edition of 200 units. The one for sale in this auction dates 2008 ( as per engraved coded lug 2708 ). Its authenticity has been checked with Breitling ( Telf; 0 to verify authenticity) . I have been told that a certificate can be obtainted from Breitling for the sum of £75 if you feel you need a certificate. These watches were awarded to a very limited number of 200 paratroopers to commemorate this Regiment 70th Anniversary . This actual watch was worn on a tour of duty and over a period of 3 years by a paratrooper friend . Please note that no many people know of this Limited Edition. Someone named Stockydeetz left some comments in the following forum last April 21st, 2009: /f15/british-regiment-240382.html: Overall, the watch is in excellent condition except for a scratch mark by the lug area and it is located in the side of the Helium Valve ( it could be polished ). Unfortunately, the box and papers have been left oversees ( in other words lost ). DESCRIPTION FEATURES AS FOLLOWS: CASE . Titanium case measuring approx. 45mm x 52mm not including the crown and from lug to lug. Case thickness is approx. 15mm. Screwed down back case engraved Breitling Swiss Made W. Chronometre Officielment Certifie - Manufacture en Suisse Etanche ( water resistant ) 3000m. Breitling plus Breitling Logo 1884, Model E17370 and serial number also present. Case has a helium escape valve opposite to the crown side. CRYSTAL. Sapphire crystal in excellent condition. BEZEL. Unidirectional Titanium finish bezel engraved with Breitling logo and in excellent condition. CROWN. Push-down Titanium crown in excellent condition and engraved with the Breitling logo. MOVEMENT. Chronometer watch with a high calibre Breitling 17. Movement signed as DM03/B217 -ETA 2892-A2 - 719376. (This last number is the same as the one engraved in the watch back case). The watch has a 42 hours Power Reserve. Water resistant to 3.000 metres. DIAL. Signed Breitling 1884 plus logo by 12 o’clock marker. Deep black colour dial with white and luminous raised dots and Arabic Number hour markers. Luminous and white hands and white and red sweeping second finger. Signed Utrinque Paratus and the Regiment cap badge by 6 o’clock marker. This is the motto of the British Parachute Regiment and translate as “ Ready for Anything”. Quickset date display window by 3 o’clock. STRAP. Original Breitling titanium strap with Breitling signed double deployment buckle. The strap is 20mm wide and is in excellent condition except for some light scratches due to wear & tear . The strap will fit a wrist up to 8 inches. The strap is signed W 27 08 and the strap model is 133E. I have tried to provide as much information as possible.
