This is a 5KVA diesel Onan generator that has 95 original hours on it. This was not refurbished in any way. The date of manufacture is 9/92 it has the new stile starter on it. This is as close to new as I have ever seen for one of these military gen sets. This is the original paint and looks super. I opened the control head so you can see how clean it is. Military rating is 5000 watts but these easily put out 6500-7000 watts. I have used this for back up power here at my house for the past 1 1/2 years and runs flawless. The batteries are group 51 and are 1 1/2 years old as well. All controls and functions work as they should. I bolted 4x4s under the skid and welded up a channel frame that has 6" casters on it that this sits on so it can be lifted off the wheels and set on a truck bed to transport. It easily moves out of the way to store when not in use. This has a 50 amp welder plug wired up in a weather proof box or this can be hard wired. The white spot on the corner of the lug panel in the 1rst pic is a big flake of paint that has come off. This cover is fibor board (insulated) and paint does not stick to this material very well and there are skuffs mainly around the skid and around the lifting eye on top center from being moved around.
