You are bidding for Karl Ludvigsen book out of print the Mercedes-Benz Racing Cars by Bond-Parkhurst of 1971 printing. It is cloth linen bound in good condition.The centerfold picture of J.M.Fangio driving open-wheeled W196 in 1954 Spanish G.P. photographed by Geoffrey Goddard was signed by J.M.Fangio on July 27th. 1990 in Carlsbad , Ca. on opening night of Stars & Stripes Motorsport Center catering to serious car collectors and owners of vintage race cars . Opened by Ted Gildred a confirmed aficionado of motorsports(former United States ambassador to Argentina under Regan Administartion) and George Follmer of famed 1960' SCCA Trans Am and Can-Am racing.Book is signed in two places , centerfold and at foreword of chapter 19 - Grand Prix Champion.Package includes : Original book The Mercedes-Benz Racing Cars signed at 2 places by Juan Manuel Fangio , original photo taken at time of signing the with me in the picture with other known witnesses ( a Ferrari and Alfa Romeo collector of Rancho Santa Fe, Ca. --- Skitts Dunn ),original invitation and Autoweek magazine from July 24 ,1995 with extensive coveredge of J.M. Fangio racing carrier by Denise McCluggage. All in mint condition.A true collectors item for Mercedes- Benz race cars and J.M.Fangio fans.
