I will do the best I can to describe and relay what I know about this bicycle. The bike is a 26 inch mans Mercury recreation. The bike was built sometime between 2000 and 2002. I bought the bike in 2004 from a gentleman that rode it one time and I have ridden it one time. Thers were originally going to be 1,000 of these built but t weren't nearly that many produced. The venture to built these bikes wasn't successful and the results was filing for bankruptsy. I was informed by more than one individual that Memory Lane purchased some of them but not sure if from bankruptsy or from someone else. They are one fantastic looking bike with a springer front end,very nice seat, beautiful rear carrier,I think what was referred to as coke bottle handlegrips and very pretty paint . I'm not sure how many are left but I would venture to say very few. I will include shipping insurance on your purchase to cover actual selling price in shipping price. Local picup is preferred but I will ship but be partient because I will have to locate a shipping box and then package it. I would say if you want a great looking bike either to ride or keep for its collectibility then don't hesitate ! The bike is being sold as is but this doesn't mean t is anything to my knowledge wrong with it. This is a great opporunity for someone to buy a quality collector bike at a reasonable price.
