Very cool and cute vintage Mercury Records all transistor AM radio and record player/phonograph. Item is vintage but basically new and maybe used for display only and never sold. Came from an electronics shop that closed up years ago and has been stored. Excellent Like New cosmetic condition. Tested and works like a champ. The volume dial was a little scratchy at first but got quite after turning dial back and forth. The tuning dial has no scratchy sound and picks up a lot of stations. The record speed adjustment lever works and all speeds work. When lever is all the way to left, it is in Radio Mode. Great sounding unit and gets loud. The lid is also the speaker which you can move around. Tone arm has a flip-over stylist that has LP and 78. The original metal stylist cap is still t and protects the needle when not in use. Operates on 6 D-Cell batteries. Couple of the contacts had light corrosion but cleaned up nice. Looks like an earphone jack on the side of case. We carefully removed two screws to show what the radio looks like. Comes with original instructions and warranty card. Unit closed up, measures approx. 12in. wide x 9 1/2in. deep x 6in. tall.......Great little Blast From The Past !!...........Email with any questions and good luck on all your auctions.......
