is a wonderful MERIDEN marked Silver plate Victorian adorable whopping SIX inches cherub with the overall piece standing 10 inches high. The cherub is very ornate embellished with repousee design around the base, and is holding a horn which I think either an epergne flute went in or a flower. The horn is 21/8 wide and the hole about 1/2 inch about an inch deep so if you have a thin flute it may work. This has one minor hole in the plating in the back of the horn, the side not showing in your case which can be filed in by a silversmith. It is about 3/8 in diameter. This item is sold as is and someone can use it as is or have it repaired to be worth a lot more money then I am asking
