Mermaid Goddess Yemaya or Yemaja ,Goddess of the Sea is hand carved in Bali from Carribou shed antler. Antler is a bone and will last a lifetime. This matieral allows in depth/3-D carving, rich and intricate. Notice her conch shell, her fin and the starfish in her hair the Blue of the stone, all Yemaya's symbols.

On the Neck is a little texture from the antler. With digital it looks huge, but it is subtle, giving the appearance of a ancient carving. It appears as a soft gray around her neck. This is why I am offering this at auction. I never offer up my special designs, however, this texture is not the Best of the Best. The coloring of the antler is a cream with very little soft gray. Lovely, the carving is suberb! Wear or Hang in your Altar.

Yemaya the Goddess originally came from Africa and is known as a West African Creation Goddess. Yemaja then journeyed to the Carribean and Brazil. She rules the sea, the dream life, ancient wisdoms, nturuing, the MOON, feminine energies, aids in birth and all things female, protects the home, called on for Love and healing.

Set with a genuine trillon faceted Iolite stone. This antler is a light gray and has a little antler texture on her neck. Due to the texture not being perfect I have discounted this pendant, the carving is still fantastic and unique. Left natural antler on the back. Antler comes in many colors, gray, white, cream, brown, tan.
