This is too incredible! Silver plated base metal jewel box made in Japan in the early 1930s. The box in in the form of twin Scotties with the lid opening the entire central portion. This adorable box is in very good condition and retains the original lacquer finish which could be removed with paint remover for an even silver finish. The hinge is strong and t are no breaks to report. Measures about 6 x 8"and is marked on the base as shown.
