Here is a 8.82 gram, part slice of The BONDOC - Meteorite. This mesosiderite - stony- iron type of meteorite was recovered by H.H. Nininger in 1962. This particular specimen came from the ASU Collection- Specimen #684 and comes with a label copy from that collection. This one is a truly amazing specimen. Date of fall or discovery : FOUND, 1956. Class and type : STONY-IRON? (unusual); 70% of its polished surface of 255 sq. cm i s stony class, 11% iron and 17% stony-iron (mesosiderite). Specific weight varies from 3.26 to 6.35. Number of individual specimens : 1. Total weight : 886.788 kg. Circumstances of the fall or discovery : The meteorite was received by Dr. H. H.
