Meteorite: NWA 3151 Ultra Rare and True brachinite Meteorite Orgin: Northwest Africa Found: 2005 Weight: .370g NWA 3151 is the seventh member discovered to belong to this very exclusive and ultra rare group. One stone weighing in at exactly 1,500 grams, its by far, the worlds largest. The second largest member of this limited group is Huges 026, which weighed 360 grams. All other Brachinites including pairing have a TOtal Combined Weight (TCW) of just 1,312 grams. Add in the NWA 3151 and the TCW more than doubles to 2,813 grams. This meteorite was found as a single stone with a translucent honey brown crust and despite diligent secondary searches no more has been found. Brachinites are rarer than even Angrites, Lunaites and SNCs. Comes with an Identification Card (typed) from whom I purchased.
