This Flower Holder is one of the Metlox Poppytrail Artware Modern Masterpieces Line designed by American sculptor Carl Romanelli. Part of the ink-stamped mark on the base of the piece shows "Des. Patent 125,594." Remainder of the ink stamp reads "Metlox, Made in U S A" This item is Number 1816 and was listed as in production by January 1, 1941. The glaze appears to be the satin ivory. This Flower Holder stands @ 9 1/4 inches tall and the base is @ 3 inches wide. T are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Shipping weight is @ 1 pound 4 ounces.
