We have another one of the very rare Mettlach steins that was made in 1903. This stein has the mold number 2001 K is marked 1/2L and 6 3/4” tall to the top of the lid. The design as seen in the pictures is very elaborate with book bindings on the subject of Banking or Commerce. The pewter lid has a Munich or Munchen motif which is great quality and was given for a wedding gift. Normally you would find a lid with an owl thumblift. The stein is in great condition and does have a chip repair that is difficult to detect. I think that this would be called a professional repair. This stein is a great addition to any advanced collectors collection.Shipping to the United States and Canada only. Shipping within continental United States will be $15.00.
