13 "Lucky" Silver Mexican Type Coins I can't really promise that they're lucky, but I can promise that there are 13 old Mexican coins, minted in .9027 silver, and every one is over 100 years old! (Surviving over 100 years is lucky, even for coins.) These coins show their age. Some are worn thin, some are dinged, or scratched, or nearly slicked. I've tried to get as many pictures as possible to describe them better than I can. There are over 32 grams of 90.27% silver contained in these coins, and the dates and denominations are as follows: 25 Centavos - 1879 1 Real - 1828, 1867 10 Centavos - 1885 (x2), 1886, 1891, 1894, 1904 5 Centavos - 1889, 1890, 1891, 1900 I admit ignorance on the topic of mint marks, though I attempted to learn more and discovered that some 14 (or more) mints and marks operated at various points during the creation of this coinage. I know everyone is looking for a deal, and silver is very unpredictable. I'll start the bidding at just about half the current melt value, and let the pictures talk. Thanks for looking!
