This picture of a bird is made using feathers and watercolor. The hand carved wood frame stands for patient work, artistic taste and a tradition as colorful as the multicolored plumes of the bird. This is known as feathercraft made by the Mexicans in the 1940's. The history of feathercraft is taped on the back (with a small piece torn off).
