Small, Old Xantolo Mask from Santa Cruz in the State of Hidalgo; this mask is painted in red, white and blue with goldteeth; the Xantolo or Chantolo dance is performed two evenings prior to All Saints Day at the time of the Day of the Dead Celebrations, Dancers go from door to door asking for food and drinks; Xantolo Masks comes in many different forms and shapes, this is a very traditional type of Mask from the State of Hidalgo; this mask is 8 1/2" tall [ 21.5 cm ] and 6' wide [ 15.3 cm] ..
