MEXICAN Sterling GRAVY LADLE - Sanborns I purchased this exquisite sterling Ladle an Estate Sale with several other vintage Mexican sterling pieces by the highly notable Sanborns firm of Mexco City. The design is a classic double spout Gravy Ladle that measures 6" in length. It weighs a substantial 54 grams. The handle design has a distinctly Danish inspiration and is very simialr to the Georg Jensen "Blossom" pattern. The blossom finial on the handle provides a nice contrast to the simple classic lines. T are no dents or scratches and no monogram. The inside bottom of the bowl has some tarnish spots that I can not get out. I believe a professional could buff them out. The finish is perfectly smooth and this would in no way effects it's use. The underside of the handle has the the Sanborns 3 Owl hallmark, eagle mark 22, RR 925, Hecho en Mexico. Best of Luck!
