I bought this last year as a MOT failure, abandoned project, the idea was to MOT it for my wife to use but since it's MOT in November it has only covered 45 miles. The tax is due again at the end of April and I can't see the point in taxing it again as it's not getting used. I did a substantial amount of welding for it to pass the MOT this included a new inner and outer drivers side sill + castle rail, repairs to rear spring mountings and various other bits. All welding that I have done has been given a coat of primer - it has not been covered up with underseal so you will be able to see the extent of repairs and the standard of them. As you can see it is a pretty car but it is 37 years old and so is far from perfect - at some point it has been restored - whoever did it used body filler and lots of it, particularly in the rear wings and wheelarches. Rust is starting to come through the rear arches (pic 9) and also the leading edge of the bonnet (pic 10) - these will require attention soon to keep the car looking good. The passenger side door post may need attention where it joins the sill (pic 12)although this side sill can probably be saved with some anti - rust treatment to stop it getting worse.
