Hello, You are looking at a set of MGB Carbs and complete linkages, including the distinctive MGB Facia to the filters.These wer bought last year as an upgrade to the set I have currenty fitted, they are quite a bit bigger than the standard carbs, I cannot remember what type they are. Perhaps if some one could advise me please, I could add the information to the description. Carbs are in need of a good clean, I was assured they worked fine before removal. You are welcome to collect from my home address, WR9 - 5mins off JN5 M5 Motorway, Droitwich. United Kingdom auction only please.

I suppose it´s a HIF 4 / 6 / or 44, bit I´m not really shure, it depends on the millimeters diameter. But.....when I look at the manifold, it´s nearly impossible that carbs were fitted on an MGB.

The MGB has an 2port inlet, and this one has a 4port inlet - impossible to fit on the MG engine.

For those of you that are interested, I will post more photographs as these carbs are quite different to the usual. Please, if any one could shed some light on what these maybe from, I would happy to hear from you.

The carbs are hif6 1 3/4 inch carbs, I don't recognise the inlet manifold.

These carbs would be ideal on a highly tuned MGB but would not be suitable for a standard one.
New manifolds with the 4 bolt fixing for approx £85.00 ( you would also need either spacers or a pair of smaller heat shields as the original heatshield fouls the linkage).
