You'd be hard pressed to find this many early, and genuine, MGM stills from silent and talking movies at this low of a price:)These MGM stills have been stored in a climate/humidity controlled area, as well as a non-smoking environment. They feature actors/actresses such as Spencer Tracy, Rin Tin Tin Jr., Charley Chase, Laurel & Hardy, Marceline Day, Harpo Marx, Jackie Cooper etc.. Some of these stills are from silent movies, and also, you'll notice that some of these stills have information regarding the films title, actors/actresses, and in some cases the director.These are NOT a copies or reproductions of classic photos, but are the ACTUAL VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHS produced by the movie studio to promote a film and/or star. These are the authentic movie studio photographs from the time period, and were used for publicity and promotional purposes at the time of the movie's release. Movie photos (or stills) were produced in limited numbers, and sent from the studio's publicity department to select theaters and the contemporary newspaper wire services, which has led to them sometimes being referred to as "Wire Photos". Not only were they printed in limited quantities, but in the cases of some key book stills, large double weight photographs, and even standard 8 X 10s, fewer than 10 prints may still exist today.My photos will serve as my
