HH-60H MH-60S SEAHAWK WOOD WOODEN HELICOPTER MODEL Description :The SH-60 / MH-60S SEAHAWK / KNIGHT HAWK Wooden Display Model Rotor Diameter; 18 1/2" Length; 21" Height (w/ base); 8" High polish to show wood grain of all pieces. Pieces are not stained; different woods are used for windows, etc. The weight and craftsmanship of each piece is outstanding. Solid, carved wood. No filler or hollow parts used.The MH-60S was developed after the Navy decided to phase out the venerable CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter. The Sierra is deployed aboard amphibious assault ships and fast combat supply ships. It has two missions- troop transports and vertical replenishment (VERTREP) but can also perform search and rescue (SAR). All models are in stock and ready to ship. No long waits or delays and we ship at least twice every week. You will have your selection in days not weeks or months. All models are carefully packed in custom boxes with high density foam. We also add foam and/or tissue when needed.Custom boxes and high density foam are used for every model. Craftsmanship is incredible, these are not mass produced with computers and laser cuts. The wood is cut by hand, assembled and finished. The craftsmanship is second to none. Different woods are used on the models, pieces are not stained. You see the natural color and grain of the wood. Hard woods are used for most pieces, each model has a heavy feel that compliments the beauty of the work. Examples of wood grain, finish, and craftsmanship. The white areas are caused by the light reflected from the high gloss finish. Because the models are not painted you can see the wood grain in each piece, all models are beautiful and can be proudly displayed in any home or office.
