Embossed red leattte type hard cover with silver relief fire department badge at center, 1857-1995 below enclosed within a silver border, 8 x 10 ¾ inches, full-color end papers, 96 pages of history, fire department member portraits, apparatus, stations and action shots.

Chapters include History, Administration, Battalion Chiefs, Captains, Lieutenants, Engineers, Firefighters, Maintenance and Alarm Division, Dispatch, Fire Prevention / Fire Marshall, Training, Chaplain, Central Garage, Canine, Box 23 Associates, Fire Commissioners, Honor Guard, Recent Retirees, Stations and Apparatus, Reserve Apparatus, Sponsors, and I.A.F.F. Local 421. During the time the book was being produced and issued Andrew F. Jackson (May 1994 to March 1995) and Henderson Bodiford (March 1995 – February 1996) were the Fire Chiefs.
