Introduction : Arts & Crafts Redefined - My Mica Shade Designs Are EXCLUSIVE - * ONLY AVAILABLE ON EBAY * - While I do make a few Standard Mica Shade Shapes, Custom Cylinders & Barrel Shades , I Invented Special Bent Mica Shades like this one 4 years ago at my NYM Arts Studio in New York specifically to rescue YOUR old lamp bases. I design every shade you see in my listings. I make every shade by hand. My fabrication technique is totally unique - The Heavy Lead Bead Over Copper Foiled Curved Mica Panels is My Unique Contribution to Lighting History, and gives me the Honor of being THE ONLY Mica Shade Artist in America Today. I work in 3 kinds of Amber Mica (Dark Mottled Amber, Light Amber & Natural Amber (with Black Flecks) , and 2 kinds of Silver Mica - - Plain Silver, usually with an applied design, and Natural Silver ( with Black Flecks). When bidding, be mindful of the considerable amount of time and physical pain endured (bent panel shades) to bring this finished piece to you. My shades are indeed rare. One of my shades can be seen in the Library of the Woodrow Wilson House in Baltimore, MD. * NO PAY PAL ! is a beautiful 8 sided shade made with Natural Amber Mica in Heavy Lead Bead over copper foil in the style of the "Deep Mushroom 16". It is 17" in diameter and 8 1/2" high. Bottom edge is reinforced with 1/8" round solid brass stock. Not mass produced. Made by Yours Truly in my NYM Arts Studio in New York. Shade is displayed on a 22" high Lamp Base. Lamp base & Finial are not included. Payable by Money Order or Cashier's Check Only. New York State residents must add 8 1/8% sales tax.
