~ Michael Aram ~ ~ Vine Serving Piece Collection ~ Look at these unusual service pieces! They are terrific and are sure to raise questions at your next dinner party. Truly these are the most interesting utensils out t! All of Michael Aram's items have that exotic twist that makes each piece not only functional artwork but incredibly beautiful. The Fairy Tale Collection takes its inspiration from the imagery that floats around classic storytelling. The shapes are obvious and immediate and, at the same time, impressionistic and lyrical - the way a small child might imagine the scenes in a story he's being told. The twisted vines and curvy leaves of this piece look as though they might have been plucked out of an enchanted garden. The cake server, serving fork, and oversized spoon/ladle have a delicately sculpted vine motif in silver-plate. This auction includes: One (1) Cake Server One (1) Serving Fork One (1) Oversized Spoon/Ladle Each are approximately 11-12" from end to end, and weigh approximately 11-13 ounces each. Original Retail Price for each of these Silver-Plate serving pieces was $85 to $95 at Bloomingdale's. A perfect dining room accessory for the Valentine Host/Hostess who has everything!
