A stunning Michael Aram trivet of vines and leaves from his Fairytail Collection. Signed on the bottom, please see photo. This piece is sand cast sculpted vine, finished in oxidized bronze and nickelplate with the appearance of silver or shiny pewter. 7" in diameter; beautiful condition. The little feet are covered with felt. Each piece of Michael Aram's work is considered a work of art. The metal object undergoes a series of grinding, buffing and polishing techniques. Variations in the finish are characteristic of these handmade pieces and no two pieces are exactly alike. The Fairy Tale Collection was inspired by the imagery that surrounds storytelling. Shapes are impressionistic and a window to the world of fantastic, beautiful flora. Care: hand wash with mild soap and water and dry with soft cloth; do not soak; do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Michael Aram is an American born artist who works primarily in metal. Each piece is entirely handmade with no two pieces exactly the same. Offered with no reserve.
