We are offering a Michael Cardew, Wincombe Pottery Jug of exceptional quality. The large Galena Green and Brown Jug is an early Winchcombe piece, and bears the pottery's Great Seal together with the personal seal of Cardew himself. Early pieces rarely come up for auction, which makes this a highly sought after item, for collectors of Cardew Pottery, particularly as few similar pieces were made. The Jug is approximately nine and a half inches high, and is about six and a half inches at its' widest point.
