MICHAEL GARMAN 1982 WURLITZER JUKEBOX/COWBOY SCULPTURE Michael Garman is known for his realistic sculptures that capture authentic moments in American life. His accessible style and eye for detail make his pieces singularly collectible. His website, , offers many testimonials and examples of his work, as well as a profile of the artist. This particular piece is a unique handpainted depiction of a cowhand preparing to drop his nickel into a Wurlitzer jukebox. His worn expression, the mug of beer on the jukebox, and the Budweiser can on the floor are just a few of the details that make it so striking. Standing more than 12" tall it is an eye-catching piece of Americana and would be a great addition to a home entertainment center, bar, or jukebox memorabilia collection. The floor near the cowhand is inscribed "Michael Garman 1982" and a similar inscription on the side of the jukebox reads "Michael Garman 1978." The side of the base reads "Michael Garman 1982 Honky Tonk" and the paper tag affixed to the bottom of the sculpture reads "Michael Garman Productions, Inc. HONKY TONK #302 Handpainted, Colorado Springs , Colorado .
